Staghorn Fern
Staghorn
Total dimension may vary based on the season and/or the shape of the plant
Water: When using spray bottle, mist the entire plant, focusing on the underside of the leaves and the mounted moss where the roots are kept. (Every 2-3 days) For less frequent watering, soaking the fern facing down in a sink is recommended. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until the roots are fully wet. Allow your plant to drip dry before placing or hanging.
Light: Bright filtered or indirect light is highly recommended. Direct sunlight may burn the leaves, especially during summer. Morning sunlight is better than afternoon sunlight.
Air & Temperature: Staghorn is sturdy enough to hold cold and hot weather, but do not allow the plant to be exposed in the temperature below 50F and over 100F
Fertilize: Mix few drops of liquid plant food with water when watering the plant. Use on every watering session for best result. Another way of using the liquid plant food is to twist off the tip (not entire cap) and stick the entire bottle into the soil near the root. Do not squeeze the bottle as the soil will naturally absorb the liquid. When the bottle is empty, replace with new bottle.
